I Don't Know What to Say...

At 3:30am, I wake-up and notice a prism like object sitting on my computer desk. I walk over to the item, and glance at the inscription on top. To my surprise, it was a box of  CIGARS. Baffled, I look on the sides to see if it were some kind of gag (if so, I don't get it) or if there was a post-it note anywhere. What I DID see was a sticker on top folded half over the side. It stated:
IMPORTED
Hand Made
We guarantee that these cigars
are hand made in the Dominican Republic
Se garanta que estos cigarros se hacen
a mano en la Republica Dominicana
Cigars
GUARANTEE
Well it wasn't fake, but that being the explanation for why it's in the house is far from an acceptable reason. When my mom awoke two or so hours later, I had the cigar case placed on the coffee table. She said it was from her friend to me. She explained that the cigar box reminded her friend of me for some reason. How, I haven't a clue.
It humbles me to know that people give me strange things, because they're reminded of a person that is equally strange. At least they were generous; I mean I got a 20-pack. Most are only 10-packs (how I know this may be the reason I was given the box in the first place).

Breaking News

I have good news and bad news (obviously, because good can only be defined by bad). This has nothing to do with the site, so it's not that important.
I'll start with the good, because the coin I flipped landed on tails. I finally got a-hold on a copy of the movie "The Screaming Skull." What's significant about it is that I'm planning on doing a riff (live commentary consisting of witty remarks recorded over the movie). A perfect example of this would be the show Mystery Science Theater 3000; the only difference is the silhouettes of people in a movie theater in front of the movie they're riffing. On August 5th, I'm going to visit my cousins in San Francisco for about a week and a half. I'll bring my camera, and hopefully film the trip.
Because (yes I'm starting a sentence with because, what-of-it) I'll be in California, I won't be able to film Wurste at the time. I was hoping of being finished shooting by early September, but because of my absence, it may end sometime in late October.

Let Me Explain...

You may be asking about the last post:

  1. WTF is "Wurste"?
  2. Is it just me, or does that picture look eerily  like a Nazi flag?
  3. Why am I stuck to only these questions?
I hope I can answer these without being too abstract. Going in order:

  1. "Wurste" is the name of a movie that I've been working on. I almost have the first major draft completed. We'll begin filming when my friend returns from Cuba.
  2. It's supposed to look that way. The movie mainly follows two German soldiers before through just after WW2. The W is actually based on a false flag used for a team that was competing in the Net Fest of 2003. I chose it, because it was the only "axis-ish" flag I could find that looked like a W.
  3. That's an easy one; the person typing this post is very bias over what he believes others think.

Internet Exile

Six days ago, I noticed something I considered peculiar. I saw that my mouse was missing, so I checked under my desk. The plug wasn't even there. Confused, I asked mom who explained that I was in my room on the computer too long. Furious, I demanded the mouse in a passive-aggressive way. She said something along the lines of "It's for my own good." First getting up early and now THIS; I could only bitch and moan (which I didn't). On the up side, I could still watch TV (although I don't) and be on the family computer (if someone else wasn't).
The Good:I was quite productive in actual work. I almost finished the script for the WWII spoof and named it "Würste"(German sausage on a stick). Saw an absolute shit-ton of movies this week (about 30) not including the Star Wars movies that always seem to be on Spike TV. *NERD ALERT* I also got pretty far in Donkey Kong Country (no small task) which is one of the only long games I haven't beaten yet.
The Bad:Because of my lack of friends, I only went out if my mom was going to the store. I must have been to five shops looking for fucking half-and-half. We bought a lot of movies too, if we weren't at home watching them. I hope everyone else's week was fine, 'cause mine wasn't without the computer. Speaking of which, 70% of what I wanted to do in the last post was basically aborted.
